Travis might not be the most stylish cricketer but he just makes runs at whatever level he plays.
Travis was born and raised in Melbourne.
Through a sheer weight of runs Travis got his shot at playing for Victoria at the age of 23 in October 2015, he took this opportunity with both hands becoming the first player in the history of the Sheffield Shield competition to score twin hundreds on debut scoring 154 not out and 109 not out. Travis cemented his spot as the opening batsman for Victoria for the years to come. Travis is a three time Sheffield Shield winner and has played well in all 3 of these finals hitting a century in the 2015/16 final, 96 in the 2016/17 final and captaining the side to the 2018/19 win.
Before Travis received his first cricket contract, he was an apprentice greenskeeper at the Werribee Park Golf Course and has since completed his apprenticeship. If he isn’t working on the golf course you can find him playing on the golf course.
