Born and raised in NSW, Sophie was introduced to netball at age seven by her netball tragic primary school PE teacher.

After missing out on NSW rep squads in her early teens, Sophie became even more determined and made her first Netball NSW state team in U’17s, and hasn’t looked back since.

Sophie earned herself a rookie contract with Giants in 2021 after a year as a training partner in 2020.

After a year  of playing every match for the Giants in 2021 where they ended up top of the ladder and made the Grand Final, Sophie announced herself on global netball stage as one of the future stars of the game.

Sophie also received the Giants Members Player of Year Award for 2021, plus was selected in the Australian Diamonds Squad for the international training camp.

Currently studying at the University of Technology Sydney, Sophie is passionate about her studies in Sports Science.
