Oscar is a rising star of Australian action sports, capturing the attention of many with his unique ability across both surfing and skateboarding.
Oscar has the surf community expecting big things as one of the country’s brightest young stars in the water. The Hurley-sponsored athlete was first thrown into the spotlight when a video of the then 14-year-old went viral on Facebook. Footage of the youngster showed him effortlessly finding barrels left and right, carving waves at breaks including Turner’s Beach in Yamba, and effortlessly pulling off airs in both the water and the skate bowl.
Since then, Berry has gone from strength to strength, most recently finishing 2nd in the Queensland State Junior Titles as he looks to develop his craft with an eye on one day joining the senior World Surf Tour.
When he’s not in the water or at the skate park, Oscar enjoys fishing and supporting his beloved Essendon Bombers.
Oscar is a Hurley Youth Pro and has partnerships with Oakley, FCS and Sun Bum.
