The second AFLW player to be appointed senior coach of their former club. Lisa who hailed an elite running background has shared her tactical acumen across both the Fremantle and Western Bull Dogs AFLW Coaching staff, and now takes the reins as senior AFLW coach at Fremantle football club.
Webb began her AFLW career in 2018, when she was drafted by Fremantle in the 2017 AFL Women’s Rookie Draft. She made her debut and was named one of Fremantle’s best players early on in her career. Playing 6 of 8 games in the 2018 season, she stepped off the field to have her second child. She held a strong career as a track and field athlete, placing second in the 2002-2003 Australia Track & Field Championships in the Heptathlon.
In 2019, after stepping away from the competition, Webb was appointed as the Opposition and Strategy Coach for Fremantle AFLW side. Then moving to the Western Bulldogs AFLW side for one season – working alongside her husband Marc Webb, assistant coach with the Western Bulldog’s AFL program. Webb’s ability to drive and create the very best high-performance environment for the Women’s program, is a great asset to the Dockers.
