Kim is an Irish cricketer that made the move to Australia to make a professional career out of being a cricketer.
Kim was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland in a very sporty family. Her Dad Jonathan and Mum Anne-Marie both represented Ireland in cricket and her younger brother also named Jonathan is a First Class cricketer with Pembroke.
When Kim made her International debut for Ireland she became the third youngest in history aged 14 years and 70 days old. Kim has been a mainstay in the Irish International team since her debut and was awarded the Irish International Woman’s Cricket of the Year in 2015. Kim was a member of the successful Sydney Sixers WBBL2 &3 campaigns including taking wickets in both finals. She was a member of the Irish team for the 2018 Woman’s World T20 finishing the tournament as her teams standout player. Ahead of the 2019/20 Summer in Australia, Kim announced that she was leaving Irish cricket to take up a 2 year contract with Victoria in Australia.
Outside cricket Kim has a business degree majoring in Sports Management and still loves her Irish sports such as Gaelic Football
