One of Australia’s best midcourters, Jamie-Lee has quickly proven herself as a rising star for the Australian Diamonds.
As the daughter of Rugby League star Steve Price, it is clear that elite talent runs in the family with Jamie-Lee only enhancing the family name.
At the age of 16, Jamie-Lee was one of the youngest players ever to compete in the Trans-Tasman Championships for the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic.
After her family decided to move back to Australia in 2017, Jamie-Lee was selected to play for the GWS Giants and has since made a huge impact on their performances to date.
In 2017, Jamie-Lee also represented Australia in the Netball Youth World Cup in Botswana, where she had an outstanding competition and awarded the Player of the Tournament as well as a team silver medal.
Jamie-Lee’s incredible vertical leap, along with her strength and pace around the court, causes her to be a major headache for opposition sides constantly winning the ball and distributing it effectively to her team mates.
Continuing to have a large influence on games since her Aussie debut, Jamie-Lee caught the eye of the Australian team selectors and has been named in the Diamonds Squad since 2018. The impressive form rolled onto the Netball World Cup in 2019 where Jamie-Lee played in 8 matches assisting Australia to a silver medal unfortunately losing against New Zealand in the final.
