With the same competitive streak his father had, Jackson Archer is sure to be a fan favourite of Kangaroos fans both new and old.
Jackson Archer grew up around the North Melbourne Football Club, his father Glenn a veteran of over 300 games.
After playing junior football and representing the Northern Knights, Archer impressed recruiters with his defensive skills and run off the half-back flank.
Archer officially joined the Kangaroos in the 2021 National Draft as a father-son selection, but will be keen to start his own chapter at the club he knows so well.
