Queensland born and bred, Harris spent time at the Brisbane Lions Academy as a junior before he was officially picked up by the club in the 2014 National Draft.
While he was once a utility, Andrews quickly found his home in the backlines as a key defender after debuting in his first year at the club. One of the more consistent players in the league, Andrews has played at least 17 games in each season, and notched up his 100th game in Round 3, 2020.
Showing leadership qualities amongst a young Lions group, Andrews had his best season in 2017 where he won the Brisbane Lions Most Professional Player Award and was promoted to the club leadership group. He then stepped up to the Vice-Captaincy in 2018, a position he continues to hold. A highly intelligent player, Andrews commandeers the defenders while taking intercept marks and locking the competitions key forwards down. Andrews best season to date was 2019 where he was awarded his first All-Australian nod as a 22 year old.
Off field, Harris likes to enjoy time with his partner Emily and loves to travel the world. He also has a passion for leadership and enjoys a game of golf.
