A talented product of Tasmania, Caleb Jewell enjoys golf, spending time with mates and posting pictures with his dog on Instagram
Born in Hobart, Caleb Jewell was a Guilford Young College student and is a product of the Cricket Tasmania Youth Pathway System having represented Tasmania at Under-17 and Under-19 level. In mid-2015 he traveled to England with Australia’s Under-19 squad for the ‘youth Ashes’.
A promising young wicketkeeper-batsman Caleb Jewell was awarded a Rookie contract with Tasmania for the 2015-16 season after impressive performances in state and national underage teams. He made his first-class debut for Tasmania on 15 March 2016 in the 2015–16 Sheffield Shield. In September 2018, he was named in the Hobart Hurricanes’ squad for the 2018 Abu Dhabi T20 Trophy. He made his Twenty20 debut for the Hobart Hurricanes in the 2018 Abu Dhabi T20 Trophy on 5 October 2018. In the Marsh Cup in 2019 Jewell made his break through hundred against South Australia, scoring 104 from 117 balls.
